2: Gone Sugaring

I went Philadelphia-style for my first attempt at ice cream. I love a lot of things Philadelphia-style. Cheesesteaks. Soul music. Baseball. House shows. Births of nations. Ice cream. Specifically this ice cream. 

Mystical whirring...

Ingredients:
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup milk
2/3 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon vanilla
Salted/toasted pecans
Magic

Still, it was pretty.

Unfortunately, my attempt did not live up to The General Greene. Though delicious, the texture was definitely off. But hey, it was just my initial attempt! If at first you don't succeed, fail, fail again try, try again.
